tragedy

It's been a day since the tragedy at virginia, and I just can't get over the reaction of it from some people. I saw where Fox news had jack thompson on and that man just needs Jesus because any person that actually knows what it means to follow jesus would not fire back with hate but open arms with love in a time of tragedy of this magnitude. Look I have played video games my whole life I think I was four when I first played atari 2600, and then a few years got my first nes system. So lets see i'm 25 now that is roughly 21 years of playing video games so if ole jack is right then lets see it should have been what 12 years ago and i killed my entire school and family. Well I haven't my old high school is there all my family is still alive and kicking. Look the problem with video games is that parents don't know how to say no anymore your 9 year old son should not be playing grand theft auto 3 there is a reason its rated mature, you wouldn't let him watch an R rated movie like american pie or resivor dogs so then why would you let him play a mature game. There needs to really be people out there that can educate people that video games are not just some game that he will eventually grow out of they are a legitimate form of entertainment and have rules that need to be followed there is a reason they have ratings and i'm glad to see that people are actually doing something by enforcing that m rated games can only be sold to adults but just like beer or cigarettes or even movies the "adults" just buy it for the kids anyways.

guitar hero 2

Well like most people with an xbox 360 I have been playing some guitar hero 2. Having played it previously on the ps2 I knew what I was getting into. Now for those of you who have never played it and enjoy a game that challenges you and improves your gaming skills this is your game. It kinda brings back memories of playing ninja gaiden and going through the same part of the level several times then on that last time everything just clicked and I was dodging and slicing like a real ninja, and the more I played the less I had to go back on a level. The only real negative press has been the whammy bar has had some problems but that was fixed in the update, so the real bad news is the downloadable content has come out and is available in three packs each pack with 3 songs but the rough estimate of each pack is 6 bucks which to me is a little expensive for a song that I can only play its not like i can play it on gh2 and then put it on my ipod and listen as I go about my day. well I still recommend this game to anybody with 100 bucks to blow.

new game

I just got earth defense force 2017 a few days ago, and I must say for the price this is one of the coolest gaming experiences i've had in a while. Graphics are ok they look like a modern ps2 port, but you see why when you get into the later levels in the game and there is just hundreds of ships flying and giant bugs flying all over the place. There is no online play but it does have split screen co-op and I have not had a chance to play it split screen but it can only be twice as fun as I have had playing it alone. Basically if your looking to blow 40 bucks and don't know of any other game to get buy this you won't be disappointed there is only 6 achievements and its basically go through the game on each difficulty and get all weapons which neither are really that hard. I give this game 4 out of 5 stars.

gamer outreach

the past several months I have felt that I need to do some sort of outreach to the unreachable that I can relate with the most, your gamers, comic book geeks honestly just nerds in general. Why you ask? Well why not the bible is for anyone and most "nerds" that I know are all really dedicated people to what they belief if its that a certain console is better than another or my paladin is better than your rogue, or marvel is better than dc whatever it is they are passionate about it and have studied it enough that if you don't know what your talking about they can easily make you see their points of view and see how its logical. Now imagine if they had that same passion towards something that mattered like studying the bible and reaching the lost people of this world. Shoot maybe if we get more christians to be that passionate about the bible as somebody might be about the xbox 360 vs ps3 the church would have to be open everyday for services because it would always be packed.
